Should've been a CS major
This was my first time writing an html document, and I believe it to be a successful endeavor. I have a little experience writing in Python from my GIS classes, but I would otherwise describe my computer literacy as minimal since I have spent most of my life doing manual labor, until now. This did give me a new appreciation for people who write code, and also a reminder that anything can be done if you go one step at a time. The instructions were clear and accessible, making the process less intimidating and enjoyable. The result is my humble masterpiece of web design: "Gorbino's Quest" is a tribute to a character whose journey deserves a digital home. From the green background that invokes a sense of wilderness adventure, to the scrolling marquee shouting "MIND PUMPING ACTION!!!", this website encapsulates every single thing that I wished to convey. The code is as follows:
<html>
<head>
<title>Gorbino's Quest</title>
</head>
<body bgcolor="green">
<p>This is a site for Gorbino. May he have good
fortune on his journey!</p>
<marquee>MIND PUMPING ACTION!!!</marquee>
